Patches and dates have different meanings

The site targets patch 4.10. This is a maintenance target, not a statement that every reading, location, fitting, or price has been tested for it. The source patch is the version reported by the source. A different source patch remains visible.

Source reviewed means someone checked the reference. In-game observation means a recorded test in the game. Snapshot collected or fetched means the site copied data. Missing dates remain unrecorded; future dates are unconfirmed. None of these dates substitutes for another.

Scan interpretations

The numeric signature table currently has no recorded per-reading source or in-game verification. Its entries are labeled unknown. Exact means the number matches the table, not that the mineral has been confirmed. Multiple exact interpretations stay separate; choosing one for pricing does not identify the deposit.

Nearby suggestions are mathematical neighbours within 15% of the candidate’s base signature, not probabilities. Ground material and location reports do not verify numeric signatures or identify the contents of generic FPS/ROC deposits.

The source reference for Janalite conflicts with the generic FPS/ROC grouping. Carinite has no verified deposit association. Those gaps remain unresolved.

Prices are reports, not guaranteed sales

Prices come from the checked-in UEX snapshot. The headline names the resource and material form. Raw, refined, and gem quotes are distinct. The buyer’s report timestamp determines age, even if the snapshot was fetched today.

Reports older than 90 whole days receive a stale label. This is a site display threshold, not a guarantee that younger reports remain accurate. Missing, invalid, or future report dates are unknown. Relative age updates while the page is open; the UTC report date is also shown. Filters select a buyer and its own report date, including when prices tie.

Snapshot time is shown separately in price details and the footer. Fetching an old report never makes it fresh. Saved run and refinery estimates retain their original snapshots.

Locations and equipment

Ship locations use the UEX snapshot. Ground references use the Star Citizen Wiki API, with record-specific source links and patch labels. Coverage is partial: a missing mapping does not establish that a material is absent. A reported mining occurrence is separate from a selling terminal.

Equipment references describe source-reported fitting sizes and module slots. They do not establish combined performance or crackability. Historical loadouts retain their recorded source patch and collection time.
